This past weekend Jeffrey had a big game against the new king of the rec league coaches Roman and his assistant Christopher "Ipper" Quiroz. Jeff started out hot with 6 first half points and a 12-0 half time lead. Jeff managed to squeeze off 2 more points in the second half despite double and triple teams by the opposition. The visitors rattled and scared in 14 straight unanswered points to win 14-12. Jeff said "next time we play them I am not coming out and we will beat them". Jeff finished with 8 points, 1 assist, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block. I want Jeff on my fantasy basketball team.
Jordan had his 3rd game this year with his Whittier NJB team at LaSerna High School. Jordan lit up the score board for 27 points on an array of coast to cost drives and 5 three point bombs. His Laker team won by a score of 47-19. Jordan also received the Gatorade "Play of the Day" when got the ball on the right sideline just outside the 3 point line, took two dribbles to the hoop and jumpstopped, gave the defender a little head and shoulder fake jumper, keeping his dribble going around the defender who was left at the elbow of the key like a statue, and drove in a strong right handed lay up. He added 4 assists, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks and 4 steals.
